Is this a free service?
Answer: Yes, the service is free to potential renters and our basic listing option is free to property owners. We do provide some optional paid services to property owners that list with us. Currently, we provide 2 optional paid services. First, pay extra and your listing will be moved up the list of properties available for a city. Listings higher up the list tend to get more activity and some property owners are willing to pay for this extra traffic. If you have a free listing, your property is below the properties that have paid for this optional service. We call this service, Pay For Placement. Second, our free listings allow 3 pictures but you can pay extra for more pictures.

If it is a free service, how do you make money?
Answer: We make money 3 ways. Property owners can pay (but are not required) for additional optional services and we sell advertisements on the site.
The 2 optional paid services are
a) Pay For Placement - pay extra to have a property moved up the list of properties available for a city.
b) Pay extra for more than the standard 3 pictures.
We place advertisements in appropriate places on our state and city pages. Also, any free listings may have advertisements placed in the listing. (Paid listing will not have an advertisement).

With automated updates, can't material that violates your 'G' rated standard will be uploaded?
Answer: Possible, but not for long. Since people on our site are interested in renting their property and not offending potential renters, this is a minor concern but we still have a human review of updated material. This review is usually done within 24 hours of the update. Any problems will be removed and violators will be warned and/or automated updates disallowed for them.

Do I have to use PayPal to pay for the optional services?
Answer: PayPal is the preferred method to pay. It works with our automated system and we don't have to worry about bounced checks. However, we do offer payment by check but there is a handling charge per listing and a minimum payment restriction. Use this link for more information

How does the owner add the listing?
Answer: Go to the Owners/Advertisers section on our home page. Click on the 'If you own a vacation property, you can advertise with us for FREE, click here'. That will take you to an explanation of the process and direct you thru the necessary steps.

Can I have more than 1 propery listing on your web site?
Answer: Yes, you can have as many listings as you like.
Use the same email address and password as you just go through the same process to add a listing as you did the first time.
Note: email address and password are associated with the property owner (lister) not the seperate property listings.

How does the property owner add pictures?
Answer: To do so, just go to our home page at www.BVoML.com . Scroll down to the box on the page labeled "Owners/Advertisers" and click on the 2nd option
labeled "If you are a property owner with an existing listing, click here". This will open a new owner's page with different options.
Click on the option labeled "Modify listing or pictures". This will open a page where you will be prompted to enter your Listing Number and Password for either modifying your information (left-hand side of the box) or pictures (right-hand side of the box).
Choose the option for pictures (right-hand side of the box). After entering your Listing Number and Password, press "Go" to access the update form and follow the given directions. For pictures, you need to click on the
"Browse" button to locate your picture file on your computer. After entering your picture file, click on the "Add Picture..." button to activate the
change.
Pictures submitted must be original pictures. Pictures from other websites, are not allowed and will be removed.

Are there any restrictions on pictures that can be added to a property listing?
Answer: Pictures submitted must be original pictures. Pictures from other websites, are not allowed and will be removed.

I don't want an advertisement on my listing. How can I keep an ad from appearing in the listing?
Answer: Our free listings have advertisements. Our paid listings do not have advertisements. Therefore, to avoid having advertisements placed in your listing, convert to a paid listing.

After the listing is added, how does the owner update the listing?
Answer: The property owner goes to our 'Owner Section' from our home page, to our maintenance procedure, makes the changes, our database is updated and the updated material appears on the web site.

My property is not in the USA. Can it be added?
Answer: No. We only handle properties in the USA.

Answer: Yes, if the property is in the USA.

My property is in a city not listed. Can it be added?
Answer: Yes. Absolutely. We do not want to list a city and not have any properties so we only list cities when we have property listings. When you add the property, if the city is in our drop down menu use the menu choice. If it is not listed, add the city in the input box for new cities.

I’d like to have a link to my own web site on my listing page, how do I do that?
Answer: You are allowed to have one link to your property’s web site with any listing. Just enter the appropriate internet address on your listing form and a link will be automatically generated. Please note that the opening page to which your link is directed must include the same property that is featured in your listing.

I'd like to have a calendar on my listing, how do I do that?
Answer: You are allowed a calendar with any listing. On initial entry or maintance of your listing, you can enter its internet address in the calendar field on the maintenace form.

How is order of property listings determined?
Answer: Placement order is determine by the placement fee being paid. Listings where a placement fee is paid are at the top of the list and rated by fee paid (Free listings have a zero placement fee and are at the bottom of the list). If the placement fee paid is equal for multiple listings, the order is by # of pictures. If placement fee and # of pictures are equal for multiple listings, the order is random and will change regularly.

How can I improve my placement?
Answer: You can improve your placement by participating in our optional placement fee feature. To participate, go to our home page and follow the property owner's maintenance links. If you already participate, you can increase the amount of your fee.

How many pictures am I allowed?
Answer: There is no limit. Our free listings allow up to 3 pictures. With our paid option there is no limit but the extra pictures have a charge per picture per day.Click here for more information

Can I have pictures even if I can't create them myself?
Answer: Unfortunately, if you don't have pictures to upload or don't know how to upload pictures (really it's not that hard, try it), you can not include them. Our service relies on an automated system.
