Our cottage is on Trails End Bay which is really one of the most beautiful beaches on this part of Lake Michigan. Trails End Bay is located just West of Mackinaw City at the Straits of Mackinac. The sandy beach and clear water is perfect for swimming and water sports.
Our two bedroom, 1 bath cottage, includes an open floor plan with a large living room and kitchen with eating area. One bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds with a futon in the living room to accommodate six comfortably. The kitchen features a refrigerator, electric range, built-in microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. The cottage faces West which opens it up to the gorgeous views and spectacular sunsets of this part of Lake Michigan.

The Mackinac Straits Area is the home of three National Historic sites. Mackinaw City attractions include, Thunder Falls outdoor family water park, an unique shopping village with free nightly laser light shows at dusk. There is even a live evening lumberjack show. Mackinaw City is also the gateway to Michigan's Upper Peninsula via the "Mighty Mac" Mackinac Bridge and ferries to Mackinac island. While in Mackinaw city you can tour the Ice Breaker Mackinac, Fort Michlimackinac or try your luck at one of the local casinos.
